it’s such a basic fucking thing but a lot of people genuinely are completely fucking blind to how infantilized and innocent they treat cis women’s capability of being sexual beings vs. how overblown and perverse they treat trans women’s capability for the same. 

i go to to the beach and see about a dozen cis girls lying topless and a few dozen more in microbikinis and this is all fine and an acceptable display in public but then when i so much as bring up the mere idea that i might wanna be able to wear some tight or skimpy clothes that show off my body too i’m fucking yelled into submission by a million transphobes AND allies telling me how gross and perverted and fucked up that would be of me

please for the love of fucking god check yourself and really have a Think about how you view trans women’s sexuality vs. how you view cis women’s sexuality and ask yourself if there’s something you react more strongly to when trans women do it vs. when cis women do it, and ask yourself why that is. the answer is almost universally going to be ‘because we grow up in a society where transphobia is ingrained into its very fabric and i’ve been conditioned to assume the worst of trans women at all times’
